The highest recognition by the North America Volunteers for the Chinese youth who have demonstrated a high level of commitment to public service as well as leadership.

The program aims to encourage Chinese-American middle and high school students to initiate, organize, and participate in various non-profit extracurricular community service activities that benefit the community, society, and others. and to cultivate students' compassion and sense of public service while developing their organizational and leadership skills. To support this mission, the North America Volunteers (NAV) has established the Shine A Light Award.

Guided by certified Dale Carnegie trainers, participants will engage in interactive exercises and public speaking activities, gaining essential communication, expression, and leadership skills.

By offering a challenging environment, it motivates participants to continually improve in public speaking and communication, laying a solid foundation for their future academic and professional endeavors.

The Shine A Light Youth Leadership summer camp is initiated by the North America Volunteers, and hosted by the prestigious C5 Georgia, aiming to improve the leadership skills and team spirit of the second generation of Chinese American students.
