Glee Kids Troupe

The Glee Kids Troupe (GKT) was founded in June 2022 with 7 children and has since grown into a thriving group of 50 vibrant members. GKT mission is to bring joy and happiness to the community through talent performances, creative activities, and meaningful interactions, while promoting love, care, compassion, and kindness to combat age and cultural discrimination. GKT volunteers regularly at four senior rehab centers in the DFW area, where they perform and host interactive activities every month. Beyond this, the troupe actively participates in various community events, including the Plano Asian Festival, Richardson Asian Fest, Plano International Day, Chinese Public Speech Contest, Texas Community Clinic, and Lunar New Year celebrations, showcasing their talents and cultural pride. In addition to community service, GKT provides leadership training for children aged 5 to 18. Members take turns planning, organizing, and leading visits in small leadership groups, gaining valuable experience in communication, teamwork, and organization. As GKT continues to grow, it remains committed to delivering quality service and education, fostering a sense of purpose and unity among its members and the communities it serves.
