Aniston Zhang

Chattahoochee High School

Aniston Zhang is a senior at Chattahoochee High School in Johns Creek, Georgia, where she exemplifies leadership, artistry, and service. Deeply committed to her community, Aniston has volunteered over 500 hours with organizations supporting different aspects of the community. Since 2021, she has been actively involved with Open Arms for Kids, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit supporting children with special needs. As vice president, she oversees a team of 80 volunteers, coordinates weekly events and summer camps, and has helped raise more than $4,000 to fund the organization’s programs and initiatives. She also co-founded North American Volunteers (NAV) Social Media, promoting youth volunteerism and cultural engagement across North America. Recognized nationally for her service and leadership, Aniston has earned the Congressional Award Gold Medal and multiple Presidential Volunteer Service Gold Awards. A passionate violinist, Aniston has performed with both the Emory Youth Symphony Orchestra and the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra. She has been selected for the Georgia All-State Orchestra for four consecutive years and was one of only ten violinists chosen statewide for the 2024 Governor’s Honors Program. Beyond her dedication to community service and the violin, she is an accomplished dancer with over ten years of training in ballet, contemporary, and Chinese folk dance at the Atlanta Professional Dance Academy. She has consistently excelled in this art form, earning top awards at competitions such as YAGP, UBC, WBC, and WDC. Driven by compassion, creativity, and leadership, Aniston continues to bridge the arts and community service to inspire others and create meaningful impact.
