Born in Zhuzhou, Hunan, I came to the United States in 2002 to study international studies at Ohio University. I have worked in financial services companies and insurance companies. In recent years, I worked in education, teaching and tutoring ESL students in the local school district. In my work, I deeply feel the difficulties that disadvantaged groups, especially immigrants, have experienced in their work, education and life. I hope to do something valuable to society and have a positive impact on immigrants, especially Asian immigrants, through non-profit and volunteer work.
